Pointed Division

One view equal, yet seems larger,
splitting the rival into factions while
dominating narratives and perspectives.
Fault lines drawn distinct, uncrossable, 
yet similarities and compromises exist.
Easy bridges between each caucus,
but collapsed by the unified group. 
Same diversity within, but quieted
so it can prevail against the opponent. 
Focused on the highlighted differences,
the pieces all seem unique and distinct, 
but step back and see the shared palette.
