Colors change through the fall palette:
Green, yellow, orange, red, brown.
Falling leaves bring motion from the sky to the ground
where animals scurry and forage for food.
Leaves flutter and crunch as they shift underfoot—
The wind rearranging nature, preparing for winter.
Then a quiet will engulf it all as cold creeps in
To keep the forest at rest until it blooms again.
Acrylic on Canvas
